The Milling Machine, and Accessories, Choosing and Using, Number 49. ISBN 978 185486
This book deals with choosing and using the machine and all the accessories that
can be used with it. These cover the range from the very simple and essential items
such as workpiece clamps through to the much more complex items such as dividing
heads, These only required if the type of work being undertaken demands them. The
amount of detail is sufficient for all but the most complex applications being those
that only a few workshops will ever see the need to use. Typically, milling spiral
flutes using a Universal Dividing Head.
The book is largely a “Learn by Reading” book and is intended to complement my book
“Milling a Complete Course” which takes a hands-on approach. It does though have
one workshop project, this being a simple attachment for the off hand grinder and
is for sharpening the end cutting edges of an end mill. The book is, in full colour.
